Since most of our work is focused on the sustainable practice of up-cycling, our production can distinctively be organized in two categories; designs that we can reproduce which make up our ready-to-wear line, and unique pieces that we can't reproduce, because of their pattern, the material used, or simply because of their construction.

From our design process stems a range of unique artisanal pieces that we’ve decided to punctually group and showcase together. A curation of ‘’couture’’ designs that fall under a specific theme through which derives the ready-to-wear collections.

‘’Golden Rage’’ is the title of this selection of unique artisanal items, a title that is directly linked to our current research and dive into archival pictures and videos of Beirut during its golden age, prior to the civil war and as described by our parents as we were growing up.

Though we grew up repeatedly told that Beirut was once the greatest city in the Arab world. The city our generation grew up in, seems to be a totally different one, and very little is left of the city our parents knew. Which is why this collection focuses on the deconstruction of tailored jackets and evening gowns which are highly present in most visuals from this period.

The video, produced and directed by Aly Saab featuring Sarah Barakat is heavily focused on this idea; a woman in a black head wrap is seen in different outfits, unable to compose herself and gradually losing her mind as she feels trapped in nostalgia.

Commissioned by Sara Maino from Camera Moda, the video is presented during Milan Fashion Week in a digital room hosting 9 emerging international brands dedicated to sustainability.

The pieces pictured above and in the video will be auctioned later on, while our Spring-Summer 2022 Ready-to-Wear collection will be shown in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned.
